??? I'm confused here. Anyways, it's a pretty smart move on their part to release a demo. I'm sure many will be on the fence with this one. As a WH40k fan, I'll be picking up no doubt.
If they're so confident as to offer a demo on all three platforms, the game itself must be really packing some heat. I mean aside from Just Cause 2, I haven't seen demos being released like this and it's only done when a game has really, really, really strong gameplay, at least as far as I've seen. So we're almost guaranteed strong gameplay, and who cares about story anyway? WH40k is all about MO DAKKA and WAAAGH!
I hope it does well.. There is entirely too few games for the Warhammer 40k universe.. Yet I would argue its the best sci-fi universe out there.sSubZerOo

I wouldn't really say that DoW2 +expansions and one xbla game is getting hammered by games in the universe
And the upcoming MMO?
In a lapse of what, 2-3 years we got DoW1 + Expansion, DoW2 + Expansion, the MMO and the XBLA game...?

I wouldn't say a lot. The MMO isn't out yet. It'll be a while for that one. :P I'd say that's a few. DOW2 Retribution is pretty much what DOW2 vanilla should have been. DOW1 was released in 2004. Besides Winter Assault, most of the expansions were forgettable.

If were gonna drop DoW1 into the picture that puts it back to 2004. Sure if you count the expansions as full games were looking at around 8 games in 7 years but really it doesn't seem like as much saturation as some other franchises get.
Ready for your computers to die?!?!?!? Ya...me neither. It doesnt seem like its THAT interesting. I kinda hope its a good game but its looking dim. Ive got games to play anyway, though a demo is a great gesture. So few companies care to give em anymore.

My God time flies.... I thought DoW1 was recent....hahahaha, my apologies. One game x year, yeah I guess other franchises get more. I sort of feel saturated cause I got lost with all the expansions and releases.
