Hi

I know the retail version has starforce but i can get the digital version for 19.95..of coarse no manual...Do you all think the game is worth it?

I think so yes its has a lot of depth to it and is a gem in terms of modern gameplay. Graphics aint all if there is no meat and SR2 has a lot of that to it.

I haven't tried it yet,but it sounds like a great game-to bad the retail version has Starforce.

well, it's a 2D game so don't expect spectacular space battles. Has a pretty basic trading system, meaning you have a dozen or so different commodities, and I mean VERY basic. Ship customization option are much broader tho'. Very rudimentary space travel, altho it being in 2D hard to even call it a 'space travel'. Didin't really go far in it untill i got bored.

Oh... it has an old style RTS part. it's like two different games in one, none good enough IMO.

If you're looking for a space sim i recommend X3, however learning curve on that one can be deadly ;)
