The multiplayer is tacked-on, just not very good at all. Nonetheless, this game is all about the single-player experience. On the surface, it looks like another third-person shooter, but you'll be surprised to find out it has an amazing story. The ending kinda blew my mind. I certainly did not expect this game to be on that Bioshock-story-telling level. Well, close to that. :)

Concerning the multiplayer, the developers even admitted that it was tacked on. 2K games insisted they put in a multiplayer mode to ensure sales. In turn, it was something that the developers did not want to do. They poured all their heart and soul into the single-player, and that was their EVERY intention. That's why the single-player is amazing.

The gunplay and controls are rock solid. Great setting and premise. Gripping and disturbing story, that will rear its face. Very good graphics and it runs 60fps without a hitch. You also get to make choices throughout the game that impacts you right away and later down the story. The ending was a major surprise, and I was like wow.. I can't remember a game that had a engaging story and crazy ending. Most game endings today are horrible. Some 10 second cheap cutscene that does nothing. I was able to see two different endings. I hear there's four, but I could be wrong.

I can't emphasize how great this game is. It's a hidden gem. A must-have imho.

Buy the Desert to Sea Bundle on Amazon.com for $10, and you'll also get Bioshock 1 and 2. Cheers.

When the developer didn't even want multiplayer in it, you know its not worth much.

Multiplayer sucks bad, but the singleplayer has an excellent story (especially by shooting games standards)

ten bucks on steam. worth it at that price. Multiplayer is not the reason to play that game. the singleplayer however is interesting and worth playing.

Desert to Sea Bundle on Amazon.com $10, "and" you get Bioshock 1+2. All steam keys if anyone was wondering. You can't beat that deal anywhere. :-)
