Both of these games are coming out on the same day and I'm undecided on which to get. I played the Spec Ops demo and was very impressed with the graphics, controls, ragdoll effects, ect. On the other hand Ghost Recon looks new, refreshing, and has a fun multiplayer. What are your opinions on these games?

Spec Ops feels so generic gameplay wise, everything else is pretty decent. Ghost Recon already has console reviews (which are positive) , but damn, ubisoft might f**k the port up....again

I think the port will be fine, their latest ports have all been good. TC, Spec Ops looks more like action shooter, while Future Soldier will have stealth missions and also planning etc. (this is talking about SP)

Depends on what type of game you want. Spec Ops has a very summer blockbuster vibe to it; a lot of action, slow motion effects and lens flare/light bloom out the ass. Ghost Recon on the other hand is much more reserved, focused more on being somewhat stealthy and not making every blow up and die at all times. Both games looks awesome, so either way you'll get a great game. Just matters which game appeals to your playstyle more.

I went with GRFS because the vids on youtube look awesome. I decided to take a chance on ubi again, hope they don't mess up the PC version.

I played Ghost Recon on my Playstation. I would say the single player is pretty boring...I have no intention of finishing it. The multiplayer is a lot of fun thoe. Spec ops looks to offer a more interesting story campaign, but I can't say much about the multiplayer.

I haven't played the PC version of Ghost Recon obviously, but the ps3 version itself looks...really bad. I think this game looks really ugly on all fronts if you ask me. Spec Ops looks a lot better and far more modern compared to GHost Recon.
