Of course, Ubisoft must out do IW and price their pc games $60. Are you buying it still? Im not.

If I do get it, I would wait till the price goes down. No way Im paying that much for that game.
I could see maaybee paying that much for starcraft 2 but thats a blizzard game. Their games will always be perfect and played for the next 10 years.
Way not worth the money for the 7 hours of gameplay. I'll wait till it hits bargain bins.

More like 20 hours...if you bothered to do any research...Way not worth the money for the 7 hours of gameplay. I'll wait till it hits bargain bins.

I am. Since it is already $50, $10 more is not a big deal for me.millerlight89
Yeah.. Keep thinking like that. Next year we'll have 70$ regular priced game and since "it's only 10$ more" you'll keep supporting it until the regular price of a game goes up to 100$.60-50=10
10=/= alot of money.

The reasoning for Assassin's Creed 2 PC price hike was because it included DLC that was released later.
No reasons given thus far as to why Conviction costs so much....

You don't think if they can get away with this (which they are) that they won't keep pushing it to see how far you will go? You have to say no now so they know they can't pull this BS. They're not raising the prices for anything other than wanting more money, fact. So when it's something else, remember that you supported it for it to get there.60-50=10

$10 X 10 games = $100 plus tax.
Yea, I'm not going to pay $60 for a dumbdowned game, and is also mostly just a single player game that lasts 7 hours.
This $60 PC trend is really starting to irritate me.
I will not buy a $60 game on the PC, ever. Especially with digital distribution on Steam. Which makes it even more ridiculous.

my only interest in this game is when its DRM will be rendered useless...just like AC2 and The Settlers 7 are now fully cracked and buried...
as for the high price trend...you cannot stop corporation doing what they want to; if EA and other major players join in, I will just go back to the days when I was young without much money to spend on games. I always bought games long after their initial release and got them cheap. I've never been one buying to hypes.
and I'm sure that only very few games, at MW2 caliber, can keep price high for a longer period of time. most self-proclaimed high profile $60 games will be dropping prices quite soon.
meanwhile, we should still have enough quality indie games to go around...

I'm not buying it but it's because of the DRM, not the price, although $60 for a PC game is not warranted since there is no royalty fee to the platform.
