My rig 1st of all.

Phenom II X4 @3.7ghz

Ati 4870 1gb

6gb of Ram

I know the game looks great but im playing at 26-30fps when outside and around 32fps when inside. This is at 1080p with everything high accept shadows which are set to high and not very high, and i use 4X MSAA. The reason i think its poorly optimized though is because ive change a number of settings to see whats dropping my fps. Barely anything happens to my fps when turning settings off and down. I set the hole thing to medium with no MSAA and only got like a 5 fps increase.

Any1 getting crappy fps with game?

Don't worry it's a fact the game is horribly optimized.

It's a bad optimization. Funny the game is using nearly 5-6 year old Unreal 2 engine.

It's an example of a poor console port like many other console ports these days :P

HD 4870 is a good card, but it's also not a beast, 1920x1080 with 4x AA... you're definitely gonna have low fps with that, lower the AA.

The game seems to be glitched or bugged. Some high end systems have horrible frame rates yet another person with a mediocure system will have 60fps+ almost the whole time, both with the same game settings btw.

Really boils down to luck of the draw if the game likes or hates your system.

@ mattuk 69

Do you have the 1.02 patch installed, according to the official forums it gives a performance boost.
