I wouldn't. It is too similar to previous iterations of the game and the missions were you have to sneak our the enemies base, which are numerous, are tedious and frustrating. napalm_winterAgreed the game is way more frustrating then fun your better off getting another Tom Clancy game like Rainbow Six: Vegas or Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 they are way different from Splintercell but they are fun.
Plus the missions in double agent is mostly daylight which isnt how a splinter cell should be. And if you are thinking about the pc version, then there is just one answer, STAY AWAY FROM IT :) the pc version is loaded with bugs, just to give you an example of how bad some of them are, in one mission i feel trough the map if i walked ona floor, and in another mission you cant quick save or quickload because when you press the quick load button in that mission it crashes the game.
I've played it. But it was so buggy that I couldn't even open a safe in the China level... When I restarted the level, the intro cinematic froze and all I could hear was sound.
Sometimes I couldn't crawl into vents either.
I disagree with the above advisors... the game`s not as good as CT, but has it`s moments especially when ur not very certain what to do, choosing factions, shoot the good guys etc. The rest of it it`s just your typical stealth SC so if ur into it I`d recommend you to buy it and have fun. Oh and btw it`s almost bugfree after the v1.02 patch so I don`t see why people complain so much.emmm78
Its far from bug free, those things i wrote above that i experienced is something many people have experienced, and that is after the latest patch.
And yes the game is also extremely demanding on a pc, and the graphics in the game dosnt even justify that huge requiremetns, so the game also has zero optimiation.
That game diffently has made sure that if im gonna buy something from ubi soft in the future then im gonnacheck many forums and boards, reviews, etc. Before i buy anything from them again.
I tried the demo... it ran at 10fps on my 7900GS, and it wouldn't let me change the settings. :|Funkyhamster
HEY! dont make a bad marketing on the 7900gs, it gets 25fps average with fraps on my XFX with EVERYTHING maxxed out... maybe its ur ram, it is very demanting on ram, i hav 2gb 667, or maybe ur going with a resolution too high, here im with 1440x900
dunno about the no settings change, ur not trying to change it with the game running right?
Edit:
SC:DA is probably the game with most bugs i hav found so far along with R6:V and TDU, but im having ton of fun with those games nonetheless...
