I was wondering if I shoud get Spore for download or actual copy. I really want it, so I would like to make all of my Spore-rific decisions as soon as possible.

Oh yeah, I forgot that you can probably only get it from the EA store. The EA store is supposed to be total crap, I would listen to this guy and stick to the box copy.
Can you still share it with 2 other computers with a digital?

It may or may not have limited installs. Currently from what I have read it looks like it is going to have limited installs, so chose your computers wisely I guess.
Digital Download from direct2drive, they dont have retarded download policies like the EA store, and you get everything you would get in the box just digitaly, plus i'll be playing the game before stores open since the DL starts 12:01 PST according to their website.

oh, d2d gets it? if true, that's a good place too.. their version is the exact same as the boxed ones now for the last year or so, i've heard. they basically give you a legal ISO, heh.
I would advise box, as it "would" be more sturdy than download, but it is OFFICIAL that SPORE box will have a 3-install limit. Well it is sad that a UN-install would return one install, but it doesn't work for me, as my comp has bad trait to freeze at important moments , so those 3 installs can go pretty fast, but since its cost is some 50 bucks (don't know how much in my country) it is like a very expensive rent. For me doesn't work the call for more installs, as in E-Europe it will be more than buying another copy. Honestly - if those 3 installs go flying then I just get a no-DVD crack and play for as long as I want.

unless something's changed, it won't credit you back on uninstalls, but you can email (or call like you mentioned if you're in a hurry) to get more activations.

Really, now what is the point to buying games if you're not going to have a nice, fun box to show off? You can't really count a digital gathering of games a collection can you? I mean, don't you need something tangible to be able to say you have a collection of games?
