Spore out tomorrow in australia?

So I've been really looking forward to spore and was thrilled to see that we get it on september the 5th here in Aussie, I decided to check the EB games site today just to make sure and to my surprise the release date was the 2nd of september, tomorrow here in aus!

Does anyone know if this date is for real or is EB games just doing their "duh.. were not sure what day to sell it" thing?

GAME's site states its uh... out now.

Gamehead and DVD Orchard say its out on the 4th (though they are online stores)

And yeah... EB games states the 2nd for Spore. wow.

Im in the melb cbd tommorow, so i'll be checking out the two EBs and a couple of independant gaming stores to see if its released.

What!? My god, you just made my day.

It is official, I went to my local EB today and they said they were getting it tomorrow, while supposedly GAME have already got there shipment and should also start selling the game. :)

European release is on track, and I was checking online retailers last night and all seem to have the 4th listed for release.

I got a new video card for clear sky so I can run it on high.

Still need to beat the first one, I got like half way through it then I got a save error and had to start over. I am still at the junkyard

YES!!! I just called up my local store and they had 2 copies in, a galactic ed. and a normal one! I asked him to hold the galactic ed. for me and I'm going to pick it up around 4.30 pm today!

I'm one happy girl!

eb always break street dates for games, the losses they incur due to breach of street date are nothing close to how much they make selling the game before any other retailer.....*sigh* capitalist PIGSjim_o_jim

On that note im waiting until its out at one of the two independant stores in the cbd here, always rather buying there than the large chains.

Beleive it or not they have much better price too (e.g. Orange Box $99 at EB,$79 at one independant, $60 at another)
