As you may or may not know, My gaming goes back to the stone age, with a break for The U.S.ARMY (Rangers Lead The Way!) My question is what is your take on sports games for the pc? I'v always played sports games on the platforms, and everything else on the pc. I'm debating if I should get madden 08 for the pc. (I HAD to make a choice between a new pc or xbox 360) I've begun to save for a 360 for xmas. Let me know what you think.

I've never played them on the PC, but if you used a USB controller I figure it'd be just like playing on a console.

That was just what i was going to do. I think it will take some getting used to the smaller screen I have a 19inch flat monitor as opposed to my 42inch tv

PC controllers work GREAT with both sports and racing games on the PC. I use a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad 2, and it works like a dream.

I usually buy sports games for the consoles and get the same game for the pc by... other methods.... when the TV is not available. I find that most sport games tend to be pretty bad ports of the console version. Menus and everything just seem a bit cheaper... They are still pretty good games though.

Nope, not close. EA and other game companies said that they might go next-gen for the '09 games... Might..
