Once i have installed Win7 on a SDD, when installing the rest of my programs on to the data drive (2TB WD Black) so do you just change the drive path when installing with all my games and programs. Is it as easy as that?

also, it is easy to choose what drive windows gets installed on if they are both pluged in.

Edit: I know i gotta disc managment format the data drive before i install my stuff

Yes that's all you have to do. You can also move your user folders over to the hard drive to save space.

When you first install Windows, make sure you have the SSD set to be your primary boot drive. I once made the mistake of having one of my storage drives set as the boot drive as I installed Windows 7, and the wizard installed the MBR to the storage drive. Ended up reinstalling everything, big pain in the butt.

Yes and yes. Make sure your SSD is set as C:, it may be worth unplugging all other hard drives while you're installing your OS (so no other drive gets C: (it's happened to me)).

Yea i thought leaving the other HDD unpluged would be a good idea.

Thanks.
