my friend tells me it is really bad and can generate too much energy and heat. I dont think this is an issue, what do u guys think? and what systems get the hottest? also my ps2 makes a lot of noise, i mean A LOT, the thing is like my dish washer and fridge combined. especially in menus and selecting things it goes nuts, i have an original kind, is this bad? games also take long times to load, i turn it on and the screen will go to the browser/config screen then like 3 seconds from there it will load up.
I don't know much about stacking your consoles, but as for your ps2, I still have the original ps2 and mine works great. It doesn't make much noise at all, and load times vary from game to game.
I don't think that stacking the PS2 will make it start noises! the only issue of stacking is the extra heat which could damage the whole system! if your PS2 is the fat one, it has a cooling fan that prevents overheating... but let it rest for 15 minutes after long gaming...
okay maybe i should free up the jungle around my ps2... just a big mess not any other consoles. i am gonna get a slim though once i go trade/sell some old stuff i think i can get like about 70 from old stuff and best buy has a silver slim for like 130. so what about console stacking? my cousin has his wii on top of a 360 and after maybe like 2 hours of play both are pretty hot...
