Stalker Call of Shadow of Chernobyl or Call of Call of Pripyat?

I'm thinking about getting one, and wanted to know which most people thought was better, and why.

Call of Pripyat plays the best out of the box and is the most refined. Shadow of Chernobyl has a stronger atmosphere and is the first game in the series. I would buy SoC and then CoP. Clear Sky never happened.

Get SoC first and install Complete mod for it, then go for pripyat.

Is Clear Sky worth it with the Complete mod, or should I just skip it?

Clear sky is the worst of the series but that doesnt mean its bad game but if you like SoC & CoP your goin to play it.

Only if you liked both SoC and CoP. I liked it, but had scripting problems with the Complete mod and couldn't go after the first level. I'll try it again soon, but I liked it and played it before CoP.

CoP is better without mods, but SoC has a better atmosphere and the events of SoC lead up to CoP. Play Shadow with the Complete 2012 and then Pripyat with Complete. And throw Clear Sky with Complete in there somewhere too. It's a prequel to Shadow, so either before or after it.
