Ok so their have been some PC games I'm looking at this year, and I'm trying to figure out how much money I'll need to get them. So far im sold on Left 4 Dead and Warhammer Online but two other titles I'm interested in is (thats right you guessed it) Stalker and Crysis. I understand Crysis isn't out yet but I'm sure we all know what to expect from it but I was wondering what your opinions are? For those of you who have Stalker is it worth it? What do you think of the game? Would you recommend it to me? I'm just not sure because of the reviews I've been reading, I'm sure I'll get Warhead unless it completely flops, and I'm pretty sure it's only $30 anyways...but anyhow thanks in advance, just wanted some feedback from some other gamers.
PS - I've never played the first Stalker but I have beaten Crysis
Im leaning more torwards clear skys, but if its buggy, should go with warhead untill its patched up, but warhammer online comes out like 2 days after CS, u sure ur gonna have enough time.
Crysis Warhead. Wait on Clear Sky because its pretty buggy at the moment and you might not like the game anyways. Actually now is a good time to get the first S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (just install all the patches and get the latest oblivion lost mod). But still get Crysis Warhead first.
Ill be picking up both im pretty sure. Crysis:Warhead without a question as i already have it preordered. Im pretty sure ill get Stalker Clear Sky next week when it comes out aswell.

Yeah, get the first Stalker first. It plays better that way, and it is a pretty love/hate game. Gives you something to do while the bugs are getting fixed anyway :). I've already got Stalker Clear Sky, and I might get Crysis Warhead. My system can hardly run Crysis, and I didn't like it all that much anyway (felt too halo-ie to me.)

Crysis is to Halo-ie for you? Those two games couldnt be more differnt imo.
Buggy or not, Clear sky has much more to offer. Warhead is more like an excpansion. SOC was buggy, still loved it. Clear Sky for me. GSC showsed in the past they support their products, and the mods for Stalker were outstanding, cannot say the same for Crytek. Stalker is just more unique, very cool, different experience. No other game can match it for me. Once patched I have no doubt CS will be better. Stalker is a more hardcore game, not easy like most games today which are aimed at more casual gamers. More games should be like it.

Ive had games crash to desktop because of crappy Nvidia drivers but never a blue screen. 2: Timed missions. I hate any timed mission or puzzle in any game. Timed missions are not fun and I dont see why any game would have them anymore. The gunplay was pretty bad. People complain about the gunplay in Bioshock, SOC was way worse. Thats just the way I feel, some people seem to love SOC.

There are mods to fix your second complaint. As for the gunplay, it didn't really annoy me like BioShock did.
