S.T.A.L.K.E.R. gamespot score 8.5

well in my case i will give stalker right now an 8.5 because of the little bugs that you find in the game and maybe because of the dated graphycs... but anyway the views are relly good, lighting effects are awosome.. and still 8.5 is a really good score...only one problem...there are major bugs if you play it on vista...but thq will soon make a patch were there wont be anymore problems with vista... and another patch were there wont be anymore more of those little bugs....anyway with out this (little) problems i think the game score is 9.0.. im so happy that it has finally come out and it meets all my expectations..great game what do you guys think?

i have read the reviews, watched the trailers, and even played the beta of this game and my score would have been higher. but i haven't played the single player yet.skyyfox1

because i have played the beta.  and seen about 50 videos of the game.  the lighting is incredible.  the gameplay is fun.  you can for example, kill someone in multi-player and pick up there weapon and use it.  the maps in multi-player are large and detailed.  the anomlies are an interesting part of the game.  it's fun to watch someone get trapped in it and blown to tiny pieces.  you have an inventory, and a pda.  you can use your pda to look at a map of the area.  you have an inventory of different items you pick up along the way.  the rpg style gameplay allows you to talk to different characters in the game.  have i made my point?  yes, i think it should have got a higher score.skyyfox1

I just think it's odd that someone would want to give a score higher than an 8.5 without even playing the single-player portion of the game, which is the game's main attraction.

Don't forget that pc standards are very high. I'm certainly going to buy this one

I'll admit I was a bit skeptical of this game.  I had a bad feeling that it might flop.  After reading the review, and knowing that the game provides the player with loads of atmosphere similar to what System Shock 2 enabled, the game should be fantastic.

Oh.  It's buggy with Vista?  Thank god I have XP.  :)
