All I see when the game starts (After the movie where the body is delivered) is clouds in the sky and light blue below it. I can see the crosshair and the mini-map but nothing else. I can also move and see the message the door is locked.

I am using Vista on an otherwise good gaming rig. (amd fx-55,X-fi fatl1ty sound card, dual 7950's in an SLI configuration and 2 gig's of memory.)

So I'm wondering if you installed by doing anything special/different..other than just disck in -> install..

Because when I launch the game I hear auido..but get no video..just black screen  and then crash..

Core2, nvidia 9500gx2 1gb, 2gb ram, vista premium 32bit.....

Can anybody shed some light on this subject,...???

I confess that I did get on the net while it was installing. I will try to re-install and let you know if it has anything to do with it.

7.15.11.141 is what the video card driver details says. It was a beta driver for the SLI configuration.

I had exact same problem, i fixed it easilly, i just went into my nvidia graphics card option, and made sure everything is set to defualt (i belive it was transparency supersampling that caused it). I also disabled anti aliasing in game (as it does nothing anyway). and it fixed it. i have vista ultimate too.

Could you tell me exactly what settings you changed in the N-vid controll pannel?  Also which driver version are you running?
