Just picked it up today . installed it . when try to load it up you hear the music screen stays black then crashes . I have a hot pc running vista 32bit . 7900gs512 . 2gb ram . AMDx2 5200 2.61 . is this a big issue for vista owners . and any word on a patch ?
LOL thanks for that then ., Helped Lots . This isnt very good concidering ms's push on vista and the whole games for windows platform . as for gdc releasing a game with no vista support .
Works perfectly on Vista for me...... I believe one problem *could* be that Vista owners are relying on the Windows Update for newer drivers and such.... With ATI for example, Windows Update only installs the 7.1 drivers.... This could be the same case with NVidia too, but I don't think they release every month. It would be worth checking out at least.

I am running vista and everytime i play it crashes after the first mission. I am a tech savvy comp user and dont rely on windows update for drivers. Was really looking forward to playing this game but i guess I can wait a little longer.
Im using Vista Home Premium, and I am at a main mission part, and I can't progress cause of a stupid crash. Also I found that I can fun this game with Full settings on the rig in my sig and run it smoothly @ 1680X1050, but I have to turn the Render to Static lighting, cause If i try to use either of the other options it becomes a slide showÂ
But it would be nice if I could at least play the damn game with out crashing every 4 mins..... :( To me its stuff like this that kills pc gaming even more than piracy does.   And helps me understand why people try " extended demo's " In this games current form it should not have recived the rating that it did period.
