Hi, I just completed Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl and want to continue with the STALKER games. I was wondering whether I should bother with Clear Sky or just skip straight to Call of Pripyat? Does Call of Pripyat continue the story from SOC with the Marked One and C-Consciousness attempting to control the zone? Many thanks, SW1S_W1
Sometimes a picture's worth a thousand words indeed...
I hope that answers your question. ;)
EDIT: the STORY sequence is: Clear Sky --> SoC --> Pripyat.

What if you started at SoC?
I want to get into the Stalker series, but which one should i start with and how much gb space does it use up? Also is it an rpg game?
Start with Shadow of Chernobyl, it is difficult at first because there are few games that play like it, but after an hour or so you should be getting the hang of it. It is an RPG, but there aren't exactly levels or skill points. You progress by finding better equipment and new guns. In later games in the series you will be able to buy upgrades for your guns and armor (increased protection, higher accuracy, etc.) I'm not at my home computer right now but I reckon it takes up between 4-7gbI want to get into the Stalker series, but which one should i start with and how much gb space does it use up? It's very well optimized and can run on literally any computer made after 2002 so long as it has a card with dx 9 support. The very low settings can run on old mid-level computers from the early 2000s so that just tells you how insane the coding Gods of the STALKER series are. At the same time, on max settings with maximum dynamic lighting and overhaul mod turned on, it can make the best use of a good modern computer's resources and you'll get the best image quality vs resource usage ratio of any game on the market.
can you have followers in the game to bring on missions?

You will do some missions with NPCs alongisde you, but none of them will become your "followers" as such. You can also side with one of the factions and help them take over different territories, but admittedly this is a bit buggy. In any case Clear Sky is a fabulous game and definitely worth playing.
Clear Sky is the poorest of the stalker games, if you really liked shadow of chernobyl you will probbaly still enjoy it. nutcrackrThe other 2 are indeed better, no doubt. But Clear Sky is HEAD AND SHOULDERS above more than 90% of all recently launched FPS titles.
