i'd say c&c3 probably - stalker is an awesome game for the first few hours but it really goes downhill later on and while you can easily play it for twenty-something hours without finishing it, you'll probably end up burning yourself out doing side-missions which, frankly, are pointless to begin with - and the plot is pretty much generic fps stuff
it definitely doesn't have the reported staying power, the world isn't interesting enough or explorable enough and the whole open-ended world is a bit of a lie, you've just got a series of connected areas that are bordered by fences or walls
don't get me wrong, i do think stalker is a great game - if only for the first few hours when every firefight is a fight for your life, and the coolness and uniqueness of the chernoyble world - but it's a deeply flawed game and if i had nothing to play but stalker, i'd probably finish it as quickly and put it back on the shelf, or get burned out trying to make it a long game and just end up quitting before the end - and while online is okay, there's already way better out there
c&c3 though - and i don't even like c&c any more - has serious staying power, you could easily still be playing it this time next year and not be sick of it just because that's how rts games are online, and it's a fast paced and fun rts
check out the c&c3 demo, if you like what you see, buy it - if you don't, get stalker... both are fine purchases, just be sure you know what you're purchasing or you could be very disappointed with either game
