Which FPS / RPG hybrid do you prefer and why?

I haven't played SS2, but I have seen my brother play it.

I have played STALKER though.

The only thing better about STALKER is the graphics, other than that there is no competition imho.

SS2 has the better story, game mechanics, challenge, puzzles etc etc etc

Both are enjoyable, but SS2 is the better game.

SS2 not only beats stalker, but it also beats any other fps/rpg hybrid out there.

Hmm its a tough call, but i prefer SS2 overall. The gun play in deus ex is pretty much just as bad as the combat in SS2, but the horror and urge to kill the many makes up for it in system shock. There are alot of other things to compare, but ill leave that to mfsa if he shows up :P.

same here that it's a tough call for me too, but deus ex edges out ss2 slightly for me. i realy loved the storyline, options, freedom etc in deus ex

I hate coming into things late, I must have missed a good game then.

I played deus X on ps2 or something and didn't like it as a mere child. I don't reckon I'd feel the same way if I played it now.
