Found this screenshot of Star Trek Online. I haven't heard anything previously about, so I thought I'd post it.

Wasn't there some recent trouble with STO developer whos name escapes me... that it could even be in trouble. Not sure though.

Fancy pictures aside, anyone think this will actualy be anygood? Or another run of the mill MMO's trying to cash in.

The first screenshot is concept art mate.

Anyway the game looks good and i hope its gameplay is good aswell. However with StarWars Galaxies being the big flop it was i wonder will a StarTrek MMO also go down the same path?

I still await a StarCraft MMO lol

What happen im hearing is this..A new company bought them out or some thing...They wanted to go in another direction..Half the staff up and quit...Just out of frustration, of having to start all over..Cant say i blame them...

I think if they actually concentrate on making it more about building a personal Star Trek character and less about the standard "grind" then I think it would be worth looking into. Putting "grinding" in a Star Trek MMO really wouldn't make sense though... >_>

This might end up being the Star Trek game I've been waiting for since I started watching The Original Series back when I was 7. :)
