So yeah, I grabbed a copy of it last night, and whenever I try to install any of the games, AVG blocks it and gives me a message saying that it's picked up a virus in my Temp folder, Trojan Horse Generic 6ums or something.I tried copying the folders from the CD onto my D:, but when I try to extract the archives from the folders, it says I can't because the CAB is missing, or that there is an archive error.

Does that all mean that the disks are somehow corrupt, and that there is no way to install these games? Or is there some other roundabout way to get them to work?

Any help appreciated.

i freakin loved the multiplayer of that game, too bad not many people play it any more. the levels some people created were crazy good, and admin powers ruled.

I already have both Outcast and Academy, but I mainly bought the 5 pack for KOTOR and RC. Shame none of the CD's work. Guess I just have to hope that EB has a working copy that I can exchange it for.

Woo, got them working, just switched accounts and installed them on my guest one. They're playable on both now, which is cool.

On a side note, does anyone know how to change the resolutions to widescreen ones? Think I managed to get the KOTOR one done via the configuration file, but I can't seem to find them for the other games.

A lot of the games might not support wide-screen. If you google the game name and widescreen, you might find the information you are looking for.

They are playable on both accounts after you installed them on the guest account? That sounds... odd. The guest should not have those privileges.

Empire at War natively supports widescreen, Republic Commando I managed to get working by configuring the .ini file, same for KOTOR, but I haven't tried it since I made the change.

And I think you're right, the guest account I think doesn't work, it crashed when I tried to run a game right after I installed it, I just assumed it was a once off haha. Least it got them installed, so it's all good.
