is it worth gettin star wars galaxy and all the expansions for 20 bucks or is the game no good anymore? is anyone playin it now?

It was worth it until the holocrons came out. Then it went downhill. So no.

It's really not a great game. On top of that the learning curve is HUGE and the economy is way messed up.

I would say wait a few months until the SWGEmu is finished, then it will again be the best MMO.

I consider myself a pretty avid Star Wars fan and I still wouldn't recommend it. If you would asked this question like 2003/2004 I would have said yes, but now the game is nothing more a shallow crappy version of WoW with a Star Wars facade. Just save you money and buy a good Star Wars game that you haven't played, if you're looking for a RPG fix I can't suggest KOTOR more highly.
