Hopefully it will be done when you wake up in the morning!ProudLarryFrom what I have heard about the download rates currently on steam it will probably take twice as long as the estimate.
You point? It is not on sale at retail bud.Yeah sucks you have to wait that long, happy I have a store in my city ohh wait every city does.
Was not that bad of a game, huge Star Wars fan so that always helps

so your the reason why my 3 gig game is taking ages to download, people trying to download massive games and or people downloading multiple games at once, steams servers are crying on their knees right now.Sniping_CrowbarI'm not downloading it, didn't you see the size of that thing?

I played the PC version and the port is indeed terrible. The game was missing graphical features from the console version such as cloth simulation, so I needed to go into the game config manually to renable that(I HATE IT WHEN I HAVE TO DO THAT.) The sound would cut out during some levels which was very jarring and distracting.
Besides the piss poor port, I still think its a great game. The story is also very good. Especially if you a fan of Star Wars(like me.)

Yeah, I got it on Steam early today and the whole time it's been going at less than 100KB/s. Also keep in mind that OP's pic is a bug in Steam's system, the game is NOT 25GB.
It's actually 30GB.
Luckily I've been downloading at about 1.1MB/s for the last 45 minutes, so after about 8 hours of downloading I'm now up to 20% finished. If it keeps up at the current rate I should be finished before midnight.
not worth it IMO. game was decent. got it for free when gamestop was having a buy 2 get 1 free deal. it's meh.

Wow.. you have 147 GB free :) I'd have to delete a whole bunch of stuff to fit TFU on one of my partitions.
The fact that this game is anywhere near the ridiculous amount of 25-30 GB is absolutely ridiculous. I'd really like to know exactly what makes up all of that required space, as there are several MMO's with a whole lot more content out there, and there are a lot of games that look a heck of a lot better, that don't even come remotely close to 25 GB.w00tcolors169I've got 23GB of it downloaded and thus far the "levelpacks" folder is eating up 15GB and the "FMV" folder is taking up 6.5GB (which is in and of itself larger than Crysis). So it would look like somebody didn't bother compressing the videos or textures at all. This would also explain why the game runs so terribly.

Well maybe the followed suit with Infinity Ward and did do something.... they just spent all their time creating custom stuff like mouse support.
I never had any problems with the game. (I have the retail verion though)
The story is really good in SWTFU but I didint think the game was very good, im a big star wars fan so I thaught id really enjoy it but the gameplay was repetetive and quite boring, I enjoyed The Jedi Knight Games a LOT more.

Well maybe the followed suit with Infinity Ward and did do something.... they just spent all their time creating custom stuff like mouse support. Yeah, I just played 73 minutes of it and already had the game crash on me once (in the first level no less). There's a flicker in some of the walls if you get close to them as well as what appears to be some occasional texture pop in. Every menu requires about maybe 15 seconds to load up and there are no save slots for the game, just one save that it overwrites every time you or the game saves. And like someone else said, there are no graphics options. You get your choice of resolution and can check a box labeled "high details" if you want, but that's it. So yeah, it's one of the laziest console-to-PC ports out there which is saying a lot. And for anyone who cares, the game's huge size does indeed result from the LevelPacks folder (each level's file takes up a few hundred MB and there's a ton of them, 20.7GB total) and the folder for the game's cinematics (which use FMVs totaling up to a ridiculous 7.89GB meaning that they take up more space than the DVD for a Star Wars movie...and they're not even high quality FMVs).
If all of Aspyr's ports are like that I can't imagine how they're still in business.
The story was good and it was fun throwing stormtroopers arround for a while, but the port was terrible
Worst optimization I've ever seen and menus load a **** load of time.If TFU 2 gets ported by Aspyr again I'm not buying it until I see a review that claims the port is ok or until it's 10 bucks.
