Star Wars The Forced Unleashed 2 PC Requirements

Star Wars: The Force Unleased II is a little more than a week away and if you're interested in picking up the PC version you may want to check to make sure that it is up to the task.

LucasArts has released the recommended and required PC specs for the game and they are about in the mid-range. They recommend an Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 Ghz processor or an AMD Athlon X2 6000+.

The video requirements are similarly mid-range with the ATI Radeon HD 4800 or NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 recommended.

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II is set for an October 26 release for the PC, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and DS.

Not too shabby, hopefully its better optimized than the first one and there are settings that you can actually tweak!

Nope it was a $4,000 pc :-

Our goal was we wanted to get this game to as many people as possible. I definitely wish it had been possible. However the PC being the gaming platform that it is, someone with a $4,000 high-end system would definitely be able to play the Euphoria, the DMM and really technical elements of the game. But someone with a low-end PC would have a watered down experience, they would have to turn all the settings down and it wouldn't be the same game.Cameron Suey

Kinda ironic when you think the game came out on the Wii, I dunno call me picky but I find it hard to believe the Wii had $4,000 worth of tech in it. I got the first one when it was on sale on steam for a fiver. I wasn't impressed and never finished it so I don't think I will be bothering with the second one.

I ran the first one smoothly at 1680x1050 on my 8800gt and AMD Athlon x2 5200+.

This one should run just as smoothly.

my current processor can't even handle the required one, sadly I'm running on an AMD 4600+ Duo and GTS 250, i will upgrade tho, so many good games coming out that I want to be able to play on high settings.

NOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!! I don't know why I got so upset by reading that. Probably just because of the fact that they did the absolute worst port job ever with the first Force Unleashed. However, I was never impressed with the game in the first place. It's mediocre at best. God of War in the Star Wars Universe. Button-mashing, console-centric gameplay that lacked the depth of the now 8 year-old Jedi Outcast.

On a side note- there was already a thread about this within the last 2-3 days.

requirements dont mean anything anymore, they are either way higher or lower than they should be.

I finisshed it 3 hours ago.... worst than the first and took me only 4 hours to finish it.... Buy Dead Rising 2 or Darksiders if you want a good hack n slash on pc.
