First of all, that cinematic trailer they released yesterday? Mindblowing.
Now, Star Wars: The Old Republic is going to take place 300 years after the adventures of Revan and his group. That means that all characters from the first two Knights of the Old Republic, SHOULD be dead and buried. Yet, the narrator in the trailer says, "... for 300 years, we prepared, we grew stronger...". Who waited for 300 years? The Sith? Were they around in the first game? This is supposed to be the "true Sith" that have returned, not the Sith that Revan and Malak claimed to be. Wouldn't they have been waiting for MUCH longer, if this is the "true Sith"?
One explanation I thought about, was that after the events of the first KotOR, Revan took his troops into deep space never to be seen again. Maybe what happened was he found something. I seriously doubt it's Revan himself that has returned, because canon says he turned away from the darkside. But maybe he awoke something in deep space. Something that caused them to restart their war effort and start plotting against the Republic. What do you guys think? Do you think it's coincidence that they "waited 300 years", and that this game takes place 300 years after the first KotOR? Will anyone from the original KotOR games be returning? Will Revan's story be continued? So many questions!
