First of all, that cinematic trailer they released yesterday? Mindblowing.

Now, Star Wars: The Old Republic is going to take place 300 years after the adventures of Revan and his group. That means that all characters from the first two Knights of the Old Republic, SHOULD be dead and buried. Yet, the narrator in the trailer says, "... for 300 years, we prepared, we grew stronger...". Who waited for 300 years? The Sith? Were they around in the first game? This is supposed to be the "true Sith" that have returned, not the Sith that Revan and Malak claimed to be. Wouldn't they have been waiting for MUCH longer, if this is the "true Sith"?

One explanation I thought about, was that after the events of the first KotOR, Revan took his troops into deep space never to be seen again. Maybe what happened was he found something. I seriously doubt it's Revan himself that has returned, because canon says he turned away from the darkside. But maybe he awoke something in deep space. Something that caused them to restart their war effort and start plotting against the Republic. What do you guys think? Do you think it's coincidence that they "waited 300 years", and that this game takes place 300 years after the first KotOR? Will anyone from the original KotOR games be returning? Will Revan's story be continued? So many questions!

Cool trailer, as I would expect from a modern Star Wars game. Predictably it shows no actual gameplay footage, but there's one thing that really bothered me...

WHAT THE #@$# MATRIX EFFECTS?? I'm waiting for someone to run over to a pay phone to get the hell out of there now.

Very true.... I believe it CAN'T be coincidence that the main Sith Lord on the trailer looks A LOT like Revan, and that the narrator said "we waited for 300 years", exactly the same amount after Revan disapperaed.

I like your theory.... I think Revan went into deep space...and discovered the TRUE Dark Side of the Force..... and maybe even discovered a DARK TRUTH about the Jedi, something they have always kept hidden and nobody has ever known.

And that's why he is back, to destroy the Jedi because of this truth. I think it would be a nice way to go...the Jedi have always been good and generous in all Jedi Books, Movies, Games etc... they MUST have something Dark and Wrong somewhere....
