$60? That's expensive for 1/3 games.thusahaIts not 1/3 of a game, and its probably wrong, along with the date.
It's not "probably", it's 100% wrong. Nobody knows the price and release date.ErlkoenigI am basing my information off of BestBuy not my own imagination.

This thread = Epic Failure !$60? That's expensive for 1/3 games.thusaha
30+ missions and full multi player with a full world editor.....if that's not a full game then there's no such thing as a full game.
I found Starcraft 2 on sale at Bestbuy.com and it says that Starcraft 2 is projected to be released in late Feb :D. and at a huge cost of 60 USD :cry:pvtdonut54
Blizzard has announced nothing.... so don't believe anything till you hear it from them.

You're putting too much faith in Best Buy. Companies like Gamestop, Best Buy, etc, do this all the time. They do it as placeholders, and even to get people to start ordering preorder copies of games long before they are even announced for release to generate some revenue in the short term. Until you hear anything official from Blizzard, all of that is nonsense.Blizzard has a habit of releasing their games around november. Personally I think they will stick to that trend. This means its possible we will not see Starcraft 2 till November 2009. A bit off topic but if they follow that trend its likely we will see a new stacraft coming out every fall for the next 3 years which unfortunately for those diablo fans it could mean 2012 before diablo 3 comes out. lensonThat's okay, they shouldn't rush it, they should take their time. But then we expect it to be awesome or else it's gonna get flamed...lol
What does Diablo and Starcraft have to do with each others release? Think hard right now -- why would a RPG group work on an RTS and visa versa. Excatly, they dont. Blizzard has groups of experts for each genre, they are not a company of 40, or whatever number you imagine, that work on one game at a time as the company whole. That's why you don't see more than one RTS coming out at one time.BegemottBlizzard said D3 would come out after SC2... But I don't think they specified that it would be after all 3 games were out, so people are just making stuff up when they say stuff like that. I don't really think Blizzard would have announced D3 yet if the release date was 4 years out...

Go ahead and keep hoping. Remember to come back in Feb when it was not released and ask us what went wrong....
Blizzard hasn't announced the date so Best Buy CANNOT know it. It's a placeholder date. get over it.

starcraft 2 fanboys inc...here, take this shield.
It doesn't take a fanboy to see how stupid that statement is.. Look at Blizzards track record.. When was the last time they released a game for full price with questionable amount of content? NEVER, infact most times they go above and beyond when it comes to content and such.IF it does then DOW2 has it beat in my books, not enough money for 2 sci-fi RTS games, and my personal preference is for DOW. don't think they would anyway, why would bilzzard try rushing a game to compete when they could take their time, make it better than if they rushed and not have half their audience playing on a different game. Also i don't trust bestbuy. should probably have put that point first.BushWacker69If it were being released in Feb, I wouldn't consider it rushing.. The game has supposedly been in development for 4 years already..
