Starcraft 2 question(story).

So Starcraft 2 is coming out soon(duh) and I wanted to know if it was worth it to buy the first Starcraft(and its expo) for the story. I like the storys in games and I don't like to not know what's going on. So yea... thanks for your help.

You should definitely buy the original if you can. Although it's old now, it's still the best way to experience the story.
It's also fun. :P

what I know that can help is that there is few books that gives lore between sc1 to sc2... There have plenty of things that has happen between there.

SC2 is my first in the series as well. I read up on the story of the original but it seemed a little convoluted at first. Tons of lore to be found here. There's a lot of plot turns and branching characters and a lot of betrayal
