I'm disappointed. They had 10 years, they delayed the game in 2003. This is proof that the new Blizzard team cares more about how much money they pocket. I wish the old people were back at Blizzard. They would happily take a paycut and release a game instead of trying to push the corporate ladder and get that new Maserati. k0r3aN_pR1d3lol, . how do they earn more money by delaying the game ?

Wait, how does NOT releasing a game to a market drooling for a product "caring more about how much money they pocket"? If anything, delaying the game is actually COSTING the "new Blizzard team" money as no product = no sales = no money, but withholding the game = more dev time = more money SPENT working on the game.
Please tell me you were trying to be satirical.

Yeah, I'm not really following that logic. Demand generally falls over time you know?

I'm talking about the ongoing recession in correlation to Blizzard's business tactics. They want to maximize growth and income by not releasing it in the midst of the recession. Think before you speak you fool. And I'm saying recession or not, the old Blizzard team would have released the product and if expected sales figures are low because of of economic conditions, then they'll slash their own administrative costs to keep pushing out their product.
Alot of shallow minded people these days, quick to jump the gun without reading prior articles/researching.

I'm talking about the ongoing recession in correlation to Blizzard's business tactics. They want to maximize growth and income by not releasing it in the midst of the recession. Think before you speak you fool. I don't think that was the reason, I just think the game wasn't finished yet....simple as that. You guys are so naive in believing it's not being delayed so that Activision Blizzard (that is the company's name) could make more money. Call of Duty 8 (or whatever, lost track past the 2nd one) is coming out November. Why would they release TWO BLOCKBUSTERS in the same time period?
Well, seeing how Blizzard claims they have started work on StarCraft II since the release of World of Warcraft, or so they claim, and not to mention their merger with Activision giving them a massive pool of talented individuals and teams to help drive their products, I am rather wary of what constitutes a "unfinished" product according to them.
You could be right there. I'm just going on Blizzard from past experience....both Warcraft 3 and Diablo 2 took ages to come out, and were delayed various times because the game wasn't ready yet. So both are valid arguments I guess...You guys are so naive in believing it's not being delayed so that Activision Blizzard (that is the company's name) could make more money.
