I think this is a video of me on SC2 when I first got the game. It must have been while using my test/trial/non-rank matches(It's not in my history)

I mean he even says my first name, so it must have been me :P

Hint : I'm the bad (Very) bad player :P

I wish I liked rushing. I've never been very good at it and much preferred turtling. It's just more fun to me.

Ok...basic things first. I supposse you are in Bronze League, so try to wall in by placing your building at the chocke of your ramp so they are blocking it. Your supply depots can be lowered to allow your units to go through. Barracks in the middle with one supply depot on each side is the most common wall-in.

Now, onto some even more basic stuff. Try to use your common sense. Why do you need yo get 2 vespene geysers so early if you are only going to be making marines for the next 5 minutes? Also, supply depot as 10 population, then barracks at 12 population, then your Command Center's Orbital command upgrade at 15 population (basically when your rax will be done) then another depot. Always get the Orbital Command, it's very important and gives you a significant economic boost with the mules. From there, you can get gas (or get it abit earlier), and tech to factory units or get more barracks and start pumping out more units. Just remember to always spend your money and keep building supply depots. You should be looking to expand to another source of minerals (by buidling another command center there) fairly early in the game. And start watching day9. If you don't know who he is, google it. Watch some of the older newbie tuesdays. Once you get your basics down, they will help immensely and you will be getting out of bronze before you know it.

The SC2 community is amazing. I don't mean to sound rude, but it will take you a good 5-10 minutes of research to get a basic buildorder you can practise. This thread is pointless; if you had Google'd instead you would find around ONE TRILLION BILLION Starcraft 2 newbie pointers, guides, tips & tricks etc etc.

Go to YouTube and find a basic build order. Follow that every game (write it down on a piece of paper and practise it). That's all you need to do.

As Day9 once said: if you know one build and you're good at that build, then you're good at SC2. If you know many builds and perform them averagely, then you are average at SC2.
