That's alot of games you need, did you previously have broadband or something? Apparently you don't have the retail cds for the games, and I can't imagine you just now decided to buy all of those with dial-up. Unless it's someone else's account -- which is pretty much the only way to loan/borrow games.
Anyway, regardless, do you know anyone that does have broadband? That might be your best bet. Bring your machine some weekend or something, download the games, make sure they are all unlocked and ready to go, etc. Then going forward always use Steam in offline mode (otherwise even Steam updates will probably take forever over dial-up), and don't buy any more until you have (or can access) a broadband connection.
To be honest mate your situation is bad, you have Dial-Up and wan't to download all those games? your looking at a week for each one nearlly!
I suggest you try to pressure your local authority into setting up a broadband connection in your area or something, because thats a pretty complicated situation otherwise. You could hook your machine up to a mates ADSL line and try downloading but again with so many games your going to be doing it for a few days since thats a long list of games!
Other than that i can't see there being anyway you get these games other than downloading for weeks upon weeks with dial up (which you'll hate) or borrowing someones ADSL line for a week to get them all.
Dose anyone know of a way of geting reacent backup (official or otherwise) for i am on dial-up and have no access to bradband and am sick and tired of going no more than 1% a night I say a gain PLEASE HELPHect3a
If you can't access broadband then you are screwed. Simple.
Why don't you just buy hard copies of the games online and have them shipped to you?
Steam is meant for people with broadband. If you are on dial-up don't even bother.
Also, Satellite internet is available almost anywhere. The upload speed is crap, but it will give you fast downloads.
