Steam Christmas/Year End Sale

Any announcement when this will begin? Does anyone remember when it started last year? I got money burning a hole in my Paypal account waiting on this joyous period of time

Just checking my email I have some from the 23rd December 2009. It would make sense to me to start it as soon as the Steam treasure Hunt finishes, so maybe 21st?nutcrackr

i do hope they will put BFBC2 on sale so i can get one for my bro, but if not, eh doesn't matter

BFBC2 was $9.97 last week at Gametap.

I had been hoping that Steam would have it on sale soon, but when I saw that price I was like "YESSS!!" :D

I've heard some negative things about Gametap, but my order went nice and smooth.

Well quite a lot of people on the steam forums are saying it starts on the 20th, so its probably then :P..cant wait!
