Steam Holiday Sale 1/1/10

Here are today's sales on Steam:

Sam and Max Complete - $15

DMC 4 is $10 shipped on New Egg, has been for a while.

I recommend Portal, Mass Effect and Devil May Cry 4 :)

as soon as i saw Mass effect on sale, i couldn't resist buying it, but i seem to have ran into a problem... lol. The Steam App. keeps saying that the payment is "working..." and won't go to the new window. also, on my steam account via web browser it says the purchase was "Pending on #account" and i later got an error on the steam app... I guess they are getting alot of traffic? lol.

edit: it later appeared back in my cart after i checked.... does that mean that its been payed for or not? i don't wanna pay twice for it...

I don't think today's sucks at all. The only deal there that I would hesitate on would be Devil May Cry 4.

I picked up ME on the 15th for 20 bucks to play before ME2 came out. Havn't had a chance to play it yet. If I had known there was going be to a big year end sale I would have waited, could have used that extra 15 bucks to pick up the Sam and Max pack. Found out the other day Steam doesn't price guarantee either. Ah well, such is life.dlindenb2000

Yeah... my brother told me to get the Orange Box because it was $22, and it would go back up soon. So I did... and the next day it drops to $15...

Bit weak today I thought, still I did buy Mass Effect for £3, I already bought it from the EA store for £5. However the opportunity to have Mass Effect on steam along with all my other games was too much to resist for £3. It also means I can get rid of that EA downloader now since Mass Effect is the only game I have from the EA store. I wish they would add Mass Effect 2 to steam but I guess EA want to con people into getting it from their store ....... I will wait till it comes to steam thank you very much EA.

Wow steam read my mind, last night I was looking at ID games and thinking wow, none of these are on sale. They should have an ID day of sales where all the individual games are on sale and not just the pack.

And there is the doom pack. I already have Doom 2 and master levels. But never got around to doom 3 or its expansion. Debating on whether I should only get doom 3 or the doom3 pack or the whole doom pack.

My bank account is hurting for sure by now.
