There was 2 other threads about the sale.. why couldn't you have just asked in one of those?
Mods should make a sticky for the sale.

[QUOTE="RiseAgainst12"]Dunno xD Is stalker shadow of chernobyl a good game? It's a very unique and fun game if you can get over the bugginess and strangeness of it, and at $2 it is a steal. There was 2 other threads about the sale.. why couldn't you have just asked in one of those?

I've actually been buying quite a few games, so far I have bought 1. Alpha Prime, 2. Sniper Elite, 3. Crash Time 2, 4. Indigo Prophacey, and that's all so far, I'm currently installing all of them, and I'm most likely going to buy some of the big packs.
But I agree GTA4 is good if you don't have it already.
I just picked up Braid, Defense Grid, Evil Genius, Shadowgrounds, LucasArts Adventure Pack, and The Ankh Pack.
dont spend all your money today folks, the real best deal you get is those special today only deal that changes every day till jan 3rd. i have a feeling that a good games will show up soon enough.

Plenty of good games listed now for cheap as hell.
I want fallout 3 GOTY and maybe Medieval 2, but I dont know, since its christmas now, and I have spent a lot of money this year buying stuff on steam, (cause its so cheap!) maybe not that much money but whatever.
Here's my list:
Painkiller: Black Edition ($5)
X3 Terran Conflict ($10)
Riddick ($6.80)
World in Conflict pack ($10)
Dark Messiah ($5)
KOTOR ($5)
Nooooo,,,,,too much temptation. I still haven't finished any of the games I bought last time they had a big sale. 71x games on list, finished 4x. Yet I sooo want to click and buy. I think I've become a Steam shopaholic.
Want Riddick but it uses Tages, heard problems with Tages and Windows 7. Or has that been resolved?
That is what Digital Distribution can do, due to you never seeing the money really jumping out your wallet, you cannot control yourself when it is time to go "shopping"Nooooo,,,,,too much temptation. True, but in the old days before digital distribution was big, you generally had no other choice but to buy the game retail. Thus more expensive so you wanted that game you saved for it. Now with games around $5-$20, it's harder to save for that special game. Instead it's click buy click buy. With sales like these you could get 10-15x games easily for the price of one new release retail game. And yet do I have time to play that many games, nope.
I'm going to stop there, I'm not complaining at all, I like these savings that Steam do.
I might just get one game this time (control myself), although I'm googling reviews of Stalker to see if it's worth the $1.49. GF is complaining about my game buying, gonna have to take her shoe shopping.
I got GTA4 and the Unreal Pack, I was going to get UT2004 from gog.com since I already have Unreal, UT and UT3. Guess it doesnt hurt to have another copy of them at pretty much the same price though :P
lol all i bought this time was Splinter Cell Chaos Theory for under $5
Fallout 3 GotY Edition, Dragon Age, and Batman will all drop more in price eventually, I'll buy them then.
Plenty of Games to play, I also bought Heroes of Might and Magic 2 Gold for like $7 at GoG today. Its quite expensive to get at Amazon.com
I bought Torchlight a couple days ago :)
So the sale will be 1 Sale with all those games till January 3rd and 1 Daily-sale every day till January 3rd?
I bought a few:
Mass Effect (Not on sale but I got it anyway, I had it on D2D but they removed it from my account so I rebought it on steam.)
Civilisation 3 Complete
STALKER: Shadow of Chernobyl
Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast
Just Cause
GTA IV
Vegas 2
That should last me a while.
Guys a good rpg for less than 5€ are there any good?
Is FarCry good the multiplayer and singleplayer?
Would STALKER: clear sky and Universe at war be worth getting? both are about £3.50 each.
RiseAgainst12
Stalker is well worth it, but as a huge rts fan I was not impressed with Universe at War. The gameplay seemed lacking and online is basically dead. Not to mention that for some reason it ran like crap on my intel core i7 computer.
