Steam is failing on me :(

Iv been trying to play Rome total war however whenever I try to open the game it says "failed to find steam".Anyone know how I can fix this?

I do have steam.

Run steam as administrator

Tryed that and it didnt work.

I tryed what you sayed lostrib but now its says that i dont have a valid steam subscription for that application.

delete clientresgistry.blob, reboot steam perhaps

Uninstall steam. Reinstall Steam. = Profit.

I just bought Hitman Blood Money on Steam and it did the same thing after I installed it. All I had to do was restart Steam and the issue was gone.

I tryed uninstalling then reinstalling steam but now I have to reinstall all of my games.Is that supposed to happen?Or am i just having a very unlucky day :(

you need to make copies of your game folders before removing steam
