Steam sale today?

Heard rumors a few days ago that the Steam sale is allegedly happening today. At any rate, we do have a few more hours to find out.

If Sniper Elite V2 is on sale, I'm getting it, but otherwise, I'm not buying anything else.

I kind of hope the sale, if there indeedis one, sucks. I can't buy anything as I'm saving up now, and have enough of a backlog anyway.

It seems unusual that the midweek deal ends at 10am Pacific Time (usually its 4pm) and that is the time in the UK the deals change (so 6pm here) so fingers crossed the rumours of the sale starting today are true!Garfield360UK

Oh really? Need to get that off Amazon then.

I put 40 bucks in my steam account. That'll probably get me pretty far in the sale. I'm going to try and get Stalker: Call of Pripyat, Fallout 3 GOTY, Sonic DX (loved that on the dreamcast), Sonic Generations, and Dead Island. If I can afford anything else I may buy some others. In fact I may cave and add 20 more dollars to my account >.>.

But we'll see.

The fact that we can get games at such cheap prices may warrant these purchases so I'll have something to play for a while. All I've been playing recentley is Blacklight Retribution and the DayZ mod these past two months.

Nice, gonna have to get that one, been wanting it, and I don' think Steam will have it on sale any cheaper than $15, the game just came out not too long ago.
