Every day this week there will be a different deal for a select THQ game.
Yesterday Titan Quest was 50% off, and it will last a few more hours.

D2D's sale was region restricted though.
They'll have to make some huge discounts for the Europeans to care. Dawn of War 2 costs around 75 dollars on Steam and you can get it at retail for 30... And GFWL doesn't work in a lot of countries, so you just pay for the SP.
Yeah, I always forget about the regional restrictions.D2D's sale was region restricted though.

I'm European, and I was able to buy games for 5$ fine. ;)D2D's sale was region restricted though.

That's even more funny, because CoH with Opposing Fronts was also just on sale on D2D for $5. :P THQ's really trying to pull some kind of fast one.Today's THQ Deal is 50% Off - All Company of Heroes games

I just want them to put Colonization on sale...except that it's $30 by itself, and the bundle is $20, so I guess they actually did.the Civ IV collection is on sale this week too
aqualung857
Seriously though, if they are going to put the whole package up for $20, why can't I get Colonization for like $10 or something? It makes no sense. With the bundle deal going on, buying Colonization alone would make absolutely no sense at all, even if one already had the other games ON STEAM.

the Civ IV collection is on sale this week too
AFBrat77
Thing is....does Civ IV work with Vista?
Yes it does.I had no idea it was a hack n slash until yesterday when i bought it. I wish I had bought it sooner now I just have a love for those kind of games
75% off of Saints Row 2 today. Everybody go buy it! It's only 7.5 Euro/dollars.
Baranga
At £3.75 in the UK, it's tempting
But is it worth it with all the hideous performance issues?

Yes, and the co-op is great. It's the most varied sandbox game. Massive arcade-ish fun, it's completely insane.

How bad are the performance issues? How bad are the performance issues?zomglolcats
Pretty bad. You'll have to turn down the lightning options to make it play over 25 FPS all the time. It then looks like a high-res San Andreas.
But the game is unbelievably fun, and for such a low price it's a steal.
Here's a well-written review of the PC version.
Hehe, yeah, I thought "wow, this is nowhere near as bad as people make out" until I started driving, the game pauses every few seconds and no amount of tinkering will fix it, it's fine when you're wandering around but as soon as you start driving, it gets choppy/laggy. I would have perseveared if it weren't for that. Oh well, it's only 4 quid, I just feel sorry for the people who bought the game full price. I might give it another go later on, see if I can get used to the driving bug, probably not. I'll get my 4 quids worth if it kills me :D
Defragment you hard drive. Use O&O for this.
There is some help available here, various tips and tricks.

My hard drive is fine, it's a well-known glitch in the game.

RF:G is fantastic. It's also in a playable state. I'm fairly certain Saints Row was $5 on D2D a few weeks ago, anyways. The weekend deal is lame, 25% off of the Red Faction games.
Oh well, at least the Saints Row deal was great.

such a lame weekend deal, after this week i was really getting excited for what it could be...
the preorder deal for RF:G was a better deal :(

I love RF:G. But for us Europeans, it's a terrible sale. Its weekend price is higher than the US standard price!
SR2 was region restricted. Europeans can only buy from the D2D UK site, and the game was UK-only.
On the ther hand, Steam has an amazing Half-Life deal, so the weekend is great after all!
