Though I am disappointed. The Summer Sales started on Jun 24th last year and thats coming up. I see nothing...:(. Fail. I also want Divinity 2 and have been waiting for a deal but I feel like its going to go on sale for cheaper during the sale..:/

Other sites like direct2drive, games for windows, and gamersgate are having some pretty good sales.

I think summer sale will start Monday, June 27 and last until July 4th. However, it is possible that they stopped doing the big sales because of the new daily deal. No one outside Steam would know.

That would be super messed up. Those daily deals are never on any games that really matter. It's always these stupid casual puzzle games.

I want both games, but I'll wait for a better deal. Got FEAR 3 instead.

Even at $25 Homefront is a rip off.. 4 hour campaign and boring multiplayer. Was hoping for a decent sale this weekend, but on the good side i save money.. until the next sale.Rattlesnake_8

I found to it be enjoyable even though it was short and had wasted a huge amount of potential to be a great story driven game. Maybe I would've been less satisfied if It hadn't come with Metro 2033 (the main reason I bought Homefront).

The real hint that a big sale is coming is that we've had mostly crappy deals for the past couple weeks, there were a few good ones like FEAR and L4D2, but not many. The other sites have had much better deals, overall. I think Valve is just waiting until their summer sale starts to have the big discounts.

I'd imagine they're also waiting for some of the other sales to get finished with. Let people recuperate money that they may have spent the last week or two.

It could start today (Friday) or Monday like someone mentioned..I just hope it happens soon!

Last year the 24th was the last Thursday of June. I imagine it will the 30th this year. I just tried the demo for Divinity 2 and it seemed good, I may pick it up. I don't plan to buy anything during the summer sale unless Risen is cheap so I may grab it now.Eikichi-Onizuka

There's no law stating it has to end on July 4. It can end whenever Valve feels like it.
