Steam-Pisses itself and dies constantly

Everytime I restart steam, It likes to just screw over all my games and say they are not installed, but all the files are still there. But you know, It still fully redownloads the whole game. Anyone know how to fix this or is it a problem with steam hiring 3 year olds with autism to code their program?

Nope, default install place. All the files are there, But the games just say uninstalled unrealplaya55

never seen a steam fail like that before. had mine since 05 with no problems

Does the steam suport webpage have anything to say about this? Have you tried deleating your .blob files? Steam should recreate them... make backups before you delete.

I also have steam and no problems with it.
