First of all I said 'Questionable' meaning it can be argued.
Second of all I don't have a plan to convince everyone to do this.
Third of all my point of this thread was to ask you guys if people were buying more games rather then downloading them, do you think it would boost the PC market?
Maybe when developers start making good games. Example : Most people don't pirate valve games.First of all I said 'Questionable' meaning it can be argued.

When you start restricting pirate's they get angry and become more rebellious and more desperate to crack the game.
So I don't think that would be a good idea..
This is a stupid topic, thanks for stating the obvious. Point is, you're not gonna change what I do or what anyone else does by being so bland. I don't think you could change anything no matter what you do actually.
so we let them pirate games?????? sorry I dont see the logic.....................

Having to need an internet connection to play a single player game is impractical. For multiplayer games what you're saying is the norm.
PC gaming is dieing.... in retail. I think that is where everyone gets confused. They hear PC gaming is dieing, but in reality it isn't. It is just that retail outlets like Walmart, Best Buy, and others (Gamestop......) are either putting up less games for sale or completely removing the PC section alltogether. But things like steam/d2d have skyrockted in sales (because everyone switched... or a lot....)
Yes many people do pirate games, but PC games can still sell and sell very well.
I also see consoles games going digital in the future. I mean we already see a few games that are digital (and retail) and i have no doubt we will see more until all games on all platforms are digital.
