Stupid walktrough's

Why do some people put their efforts creating a long walktrough for a game which that makes us tired on reading it.. They put some blah blah blah, etc etc etc... why do just go go ahead on the right topic to discuss, because we only need it just only to be a guide for us, not just for cheating because that spoils up the game where the thrill of action becomes nonsense..

why do they need to post it long? they're really stupid huh.. they put some versions, history , that we don't need.. the hell they are..

Thry're not the stupid ones ;) somebody else is. They put a lot of work in making the walkthroughs as detailed as they can so that even a brainless kid can find his way through even the moust difficult games, but it seems some people get overwhelmed by the information and even very detailed walkthrougs are useless for them at that point, that certain person must quit the game and forget it forever.

Some people dedicate a lot of time for such a walkthrough that would help you in solving everything, every little thing in the game, if you are too lazy to just look for what you want don't complain.

Just to clarify, you're complaining about people who:

• played the game to completion
• figured everything out themselves
• spent their own time creating and writing a walkthrough, which typically involves a second or third play through

Long detailed walkthoughs are very useful things. I take my hat off to those that create them.DopeyDavoid

I completely agree, and whenever I go to GameFAQs to get a walkthrough, I'll almost immediately look straight at the ones that have a large filesize, becuase that shows to me that the writer really knows the game, and has gone into detail in the walkthrough, both of which are points that a walkthrough really needs :P.

I'm exactly the same, i admire ppl who take the time to do walkthroughs, i know i wouldnt be able to do it, so to me it doesnt matter if its long or short, aslong as it helps me through that part of the game, i'm very grateful

creating a walkthru doesnt bother me, what does bother me, is people that use them and go... oh yeah im so good at "x" game, yeah i beat it... im such a good gamer.

because everyone now wants instant gratification.

I think people that take the time and make walkthrough are freaking awesome, maybe I'm the stupid one for thinking that. :roll:

i even sent a small paypal donation to whoever wrote the Painkiller one i used, 'cos i'd never have got throught the boss fights without it

the best ones though are visual walkthroughs, there are some really well-put together ones, and it's so much easier than trying to work out where they're talking about from the text alone
