When I play any games, the FPS drop time-by-time. Like when I play Crysis for 20-30 fps but it will suddenly drop to 8-15 fps, back to normal after several minutes, fps drop again after several minutes, and so on...

I already kill everything I can in the background like AVG and Aero, I even disable Desktop Windows Manager.

It's a recent issue and everything is up to date. But the problem just came out suddenly.

Windows Vista Home Premium SP2 32-bit

Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0GHz

2GB DDR2 RAM

Geforce 8600GS 512MB

EDIT: It drops a maximum of 20 fps, but never drop until 8 fps. Weird.

your GPU is not good enough for Crysis to run smooth, thats a fact, and you probably a bit low in RAM amount. but if you give the res and settings you use for crysis and other gamesit would help.

My computer is already one year and I have no problem with it.

As for Crysis I can run Medium @ 800 x 600, DX9.

As I said, this is a recent issue.

It might be a overheating issue. Try cleaning the PC and make sure i has enough airflow.

Checked, everthing is fine. All the settings was set to default factory settings. But problem still exist.

EDIT: It just happen suddenly and I don't know why. Tested with overclocked and underclocked CPU & GPU, same result. :(
