I currently have an older Antec p180 from before it was redesigned to be more like the p182. I recently had to open it up to change a few things when I started OC'ing, and was reminded of how much of a love hate relationship I have with this case. On the one hand, it's very quiet and well constructed. On the other hand, it's extremely cramped inside, and the wierd placement on the PSU at the bottom in a walled off compartment makes anything related to cabling an absolute nightmare to deal with. My huge PSU barely fits, the power cables don't reach many of the connection on the mobo without extenders, and you have thread every power cable through a little two inch hole. You also end up with a nice jumble of power cables right below the bottom PCI slot, and they are touching my sound card, which doesn't make me feel particularly comfortable. I can see what Antec was going for with all the sound dampening and thermal compartments, but this thing is a nightmare to work with. It's also ungodly heavy. Basically I like the case, just so long as I don't have to open it and actually do anything with my hardware.

I had a really old Lian Li before this which I liked. It was very easy to work with thanks to a slide out mobo tray. But the thing was loud, and didn't have very good cooling (was using 80mm rather than 120mm fans). I would just go back to using that but unfortunately I gave it to a buddy of mine awhile ago as a going away present.

What cases are you guys using and what are your experiences with them?

I currently have an older Antec p180 from before it was redesigned to be more like the p182 (the 182 has vastly improved cable management). I recently had to open it up to change a few things when I started OC'ing, and was reminded of how much of a love hate relationship I have with this case. On the one hand, it's very quiet and well constructed. On the other hand, it's extremely cramped inside, and the wierd placement of the PSU at the bottom in a walled off compartment makes anything related to cabling an absolute nightmare to deal with. My huge PSU barely fits, the power cables don't reach many of the connection on the mobo without extenders, and you have thread every power cable through a little two inch hole. You also end up with a nice jumble of power cables right below the bottom PCI slot, and they are touching my sound card, which doesn't exactly make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I can see what Antec was going for with all the sound dampening and thermal compartments, but this thing is a nightmare to work with. It's also ungodly heavy. Basically I like the case, just so long as I don't have to open it and actually do anything with my hardware.

I would just go back to using that but unfortunately I gave it to a buddy of mine awhile ago as a going away present. I looked at some Lian Li's on Newegg and it looks like they haven't changed their designs much at all since that old case. Kind of sad considering I bought it back in 2002.

What cases are you guys using and what are your experiences with them?

Really depends on ur budget, if you want soemthing that looks sleek and clean id go for a Cooler Master Centurion 5 which is what i have.a plus to that case is also the freakign huge fan in it and the simplicity of installing everything; 98% of the componenets clip in and its got HEAPS of room for extra hard drives and dvd drives. But if ur willing to spend $200 or more id go for something like The Viper, Nzxt Guardian, or the XG Dragon case. The Thermaltake Soprano case is also another case id reccomend

Definitely check out the Armour. Tons of room, great airflow, and looks pretty good too, IMHO.

Well, I'm Using a CM690 (i think it's the 690, pretty sure..)
Good cooling, and easy cable routing. pretty big too. I think it might fit even those massive GPU's like the 9800x2
