It's been around 3 years since I was playing free MMOPRG's, so I might be slightly outdated here, here's a few suggestions you might want to check out though.

Allods Online - This one is pretty new and propably the closest to a WoW clone you can get, because the similarities are striking. I have only tried it (10 first levels or so) but by a free to play standard, I'd say it seemed very good.

Cabal Online - Pretty good back then at least, launched as a pay to play game but later moved to the free to play with cash shop model. Quite neat graphics and a combo system that made it stand out a bit.

ArchLord Online - Also a pay to play game that changed business model to free. I don't really know what's up with it now though because Webzen took over it, when I played it was Codemasters.

2moons - A bit more adult game with gore and foul language. Had a huge hype when it launched and at least back then I considered it a quite good game.

SilkRoad Online - Nice game with a fun Merchant - Thief - Hunter job system. There has been a helluva lot content added since I stopped playing it so I don't really know what it's like now.

Now keep in mind though if you are new to the free to play model that most of these games suffer from lag and bots/cheating in various ways, more or less. At least they did 3-4 years ago and I doubt that has changed much. Can't really say what the situation with Allods is.

worst ? you suggested most expensive free mmos ever , in allodds cash shop is just dominating whole game , past lvl. 20 is unplayble without spending atleast 30$ every month in the cashop and battle of immortals is in the same situation , also its a mu clone itself , mu was released like 6 years ago ? maybe more , it was epic game back then and its way better than allodds or battle of immortals ...

Agreed.

Anyway, there are 4 popular f2p mmo's out there at the moment, and i have played them all.

4. Cabal online

Its a rough gem, but its a good, popular mmo. Unlike others, its focused on action with its beautiful animated skills, though it has a bit-to-much grindfest which might bore you at higher lvls. Lvling up is easy and comunity is pretty good. It has a combo sistem, which is entertaining, good updates, its maps are small but very diverse, has features such as Nation War and Chaos Arena, and plenty of quests. Its not excelent, but it is one of the better asian mmo's out there.

3. Perfect World International

Truth is, it is THE most popular f2p mmo out there, having a player base of over 5 million, and one of the features i trully like is the virtual world.. For a F2P game, this one has one of the best graphics. Your reflection against the water while you're walking along the shore, to the sun and moon reflecting against the surface too. It's truly a beautiful game, and has a gigantic map for you to explore with many diverse zones. If you like exploring, this is a game for you. Now.. gameplay-wise, its not that different from most asian mmo's, it has grindfest, many skills, a lot of quests, basic point-click action, events. Its a avererage mmo, but its world makes up for it. Give it a try.

The following 2 games are not the typical asian type. :P

2. Allods Online

A new mmo, and pretty popular, this game is a 3D Fantasy MMORPG with some interesting Sci-Fi elements. Unlike other MMORPGs, Allods Online has a great emphasis on its storyline, and the game's graphics look a lot like Blizzard's WoW while gameplay is a bit more like Warhammer Online(my personal favorite mmo). Unique monster designs, unique astral battles (PvP), many playable classes, beautifully designed world, solid interface and plenty of quests makes this game one of the best f2p on the market at the moment.

1. Dungeons and Dragons online: Ebberon Unlimited.

DDO was at first a p2p online game, and you can trully feel that since it is extremely different compared to most mmo's out there. Its a beautiful world, made out of many instances(similar to Guild Wars), and each adventure takes place within its own instanced area, this is really good because the quests combine to form an well-made story that can be played as a individual, or with a party. Some quest are hard enough to require a party, and because the game is very popular, there is always a great deal of people playing at any time. The comunity is mature, and will help you.

This is the best f2p game on the market at the moment.

Yeah screw the free ones, basically all of them are just crappy, people always have advantages from the cash shops etc, and i used to play cabal online, and its nothing but one HUGE grind fest.

I would suggest Runes of Magic, its quite good for free. If you are absolutely brand new to MMOs, I might also suggest Runescape, just to get the feel of an MMO and then after about a week you'll get bored of it and move on to something else :P. Its totally different for most other MMOs, but it still helps you get the feel of being in an MMO, plus every other MMO would look good in comparison.
