Looking to upgrade my GPU from an NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GX2. My budget is around 200-300 dollars. I do not care if it is an ATI or NVIDIA card, just looking the most bang for my buck. Thanks in advance,

[QUOTE="iliatay"]Some people would list the heat and power draw as a big downside to the 470, though. Yes it DOES create more heat and draw more power than the 5850, but i wouldnt lose any sleep over it. its not a big deal and i consider its much more worth it for the performance and price. but thats just me....definitely the GTX 470. with a slight overclock it'll beat then 5870 in almost every game.

GTX470. Just make sure you have decent means to keep everything cool and you won't have any heat related problems, which is the one thing that is a turn off about the 470.Looking to upgrade my GPU from an NVIDIA Geforce 9800 GX2. If he's coming from a 9800x2... heat, the same to a gtx 470 while giving better performance. If you want a more efficient card, the AMD 5850 is very nice. If you are fine with power constraints (9800 gx2 minimum power requirements on nvidia website is higher then a gtx 470 though I believe a 470 uses more power) and heat you produce now and won't mind, the gtx 470 will be your option.
