SupCom crashes - unable to complete campaign

Hey, I managed to complete the SupCom Aeon cmpaign just fine. But when I started the UEF campaign, I got to the mission where you have to escort those trucks to Foxtrot Lima (mission 3 i think), but as soon as I manage to get the trucks near to the extraction point (usually inside a stinger gunship) ther game freezes....well....kinda.....I can still select units, and click icons, and order production, and I can still hear sound as well, but nothing actually moves or does anything! I also got this on mission 3 of the Cybran campaign (the one with 3 UEF bases over the river, where you have to defend the colony), jsut as I went to fly a jet over. Ive not noticed a pattern for the Cybran one yet.

I have the latest patch I think, and my system specs are fine, any help?

I dunno if youve ever noticed, but some people on these forums actually have helpful suggestions to problems like this. Its often better than sitting talking to a premium rate machine then being put on hold for half an hour.

Did you patch the game before you started playing it? Or did you install the patch soon after playing the game?

If the latter applies it could be a corrupted file somewhere. If this is the case you would probably have to contact customer support.

What are your PCs specs, and are you on XP or Vista. Because i have heard Vista also causes problems with SupCom. 

Im afraid its a lot more than my second. EVERYTHING seems to be broke atm - even my godamn 360 has packed in all of a sudden.

No, Im afraid I didnt solve the problem, it still crashed, but its always just as Im about to get the trucks to the zone in Lima Foxtrot. I can only assume it might be my save, thats the only thing I can think of.

But yeah, STALKER has given me problems from Day 1 - the extreme load times didnt help till i discovered how to skip the prefetch stage. My PC should be able to handle it though.

HOW do you skip the "prefetch" stage???

Right click on your STALKER launch icon, then where it says target, it should read "C:\Program Files...STALKER..." etc. After the last " mark. Type a space, and then -noprefetch. If you wish to skip the intro movies as well, type another space and then
-nointro.
