Super Meat Boy without a controller?... = suicide?

So I really want to download Super Meat Boy on Steam, since it's only $3.75 (!). But, I don't have a(n Xbox 360) controller to play it with. I really wanted to just download it for the Wii since I'm a Wii-only owner, but that seems like it ain't gonna happen now. Nevermind the cost of the game - it costs less than a sandwich right now - is it worth dealing with the frustration of trying to play the game without a controller of somekind?

OR, does someone want to give me code to run that magically allows my Wii Remote to connect to my computer? :D

No, unless you suck it's not that hard. It has the difficulty of the old early 90's games.

I haven't tried it without a controller, but at its current price you'd be a fool not to buy it. It's a terrific game. You can always pick up a cheap controller at a later date if you feel you need to.

I haven't tried the game with a controller, and I love it. Might be easier with a controller, I don't know, but the keyboard works great.

Found it really frustrating with the keyboard and mouse. Controller felt much better. AAllxxjjnn

The developers themselves say that playing SMB with a keyboard is a bad idea!

I finished first two dark and light worlds with A+ playing on keyboard and a third light world.No problems so far.

From what I've played of it, it's probably a lot easier with a controller. I'm definitely going to hook up my Xbox 360 controller the next time I play it.

While I'm finding the game quite hard, it's definitely not because I'm playing on KB, which feels fine to me

When you load up you will get some messages telling you to play with a controller some of them are pretty funny.

Is it just me or do some levels take a lot of repeating just to complete? Its decent but some seem almost impossible to complete

You can connect your Wiimote to PC with bluetooth, and I think Xpadder may be able to emulate it.

As for keyboard controls; they should be ok but you will have to adapt.

Well, since it's definitely not coming to WiiWare, and since it's still only $7.50 on Steam, gonna download it and try it out. Thanks guys. Hopefully I'll preserve most of my sanity.
