Supreme Commander .exe

Hi, I was just wondering if it's legal for someone to give me his .exe? Lost my CD a while back, used a No-CD thing(I heard these were legal to use if you actually bought the full version), and I didn't save my original .exe anywhere, so when I tried patching, it updated all the files except the .exe. So now it won't open the game. Just wondering, is it legal for anyone to give me the original/I find it off Google? Or do I have to buy it again?

And also if I can't ask this around here, please a mod close the thread or delete it.

I don't know about the legality, but if you bought the game don't worry. You payed your money and thus the publisher benefited, but they are not losing any money off a copied .exe . Do you see what i mean?

I looked around and couldn't find anything that was just a dvd image. So you are probably going to be stuck with a pirated/cracked version unless you can find someone willing to make an image of their game for you.

If you don't need a cd to play there shouldn't be any No-cd cracks >_>

No no no I just need the .exe Just the one file, I don't need a re-install or something.

It's the Supreme Commander.exe in the \bin folder @ game directory. That's all I need.
