I am kind of a noob with this type of game although far from PC gaming :) Anyways I have played both demos and was just wondering which is a deeper game and which requires more skill and thinking to win? Also which has better online play? Thanks. I heard DOW is great alos. Grrrr I am so confused lol. Thanks all...

supcom. From what you're saying it seems like you're more interested in MP, which supcom excels at. It requires a lot more skill and thinking and you have to actually think strategically. COH has a much better SP component though.

I picked up a copy of COH a couple months ago, and honestly never really got into the game. Maybe its my love for sci-fi themes, but I found C&C3 and SupCom to be much more enjoyable.

It's not Call of Heroes, it's Company of Heroes. And having played both, I find them so different it's utterly impossible to compare. SupCom is more macro-management-oriented, and appeals to a pretty specific audience. It also has a high learning curve, even for a TA veteran like me, and many people have complained for its apparent lack of "personality." SupCom focuses more on large-scaled battles, with hundreds of units across the land, the air and the sea. SupCom has a relatively weak single player, but it's when taken online where it really shines. Company of Heroes is almost the exact opposite, being almost completely focused on micro-management. It's relatively easier get into, and is once again a demonstration of Relic's prowess at producing cinematic RTSs. CoH focuses more on the smaller things: individual infantry squads, some weapon teams, a handful of tanks here and there, that sort of thing. CoH also has much better graphics. CoH is pretty solid in both singleplayer and multiplayer. They are both very deep RTS games gameplay-wise, and both require beefy rigs to run well. Your choice depends on which audience you belong to. Personally, I would buy CoH right away, then try the Supreme Commander demo (bearing in mind the demo is a very poor representation of the full game, especially after patches) to see if it's to your liking. If yes, then I would get that too.

It really depends on what you want they are both deep in there ways,Supcom on a strategy point of view and Company of Heroes on a tactic point of view.Basicly Company of Heores its about how you use your units not about masses, while Supcom is about large scale battles that requires strategy. As far as the two go Supcom has more offical maps then Company of Heroes. In the end it really depends on what gameplay you like the most on what you will enjoy online more.

You can't really compare them. As madrocketeer said, Supreme Commander is macro based while Company of Heroes is much more micro based. So it really depends on what you're more comfortable with. I would say Company of Heroes is a great game, but very hard and a little difficult to get into for an average (not hardcore) Real Time Strategy player. Supreme Commander on the other hand, is a little easier to get into, especially for a casual strategy player.

I had the exact opposite experience. I'm not a big RTS player, but I took to Company of Heroes like crack cocaine, while the Supreme Commander demo left me feeling very "meh."
