System Shock 2 issue

Well, I can't install the game on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit, it always gives me a Windows NT error even with compatibility mode at Windows 95 or XP, what can I do?

I'm sure the solution is somewhere on ttlg forums.

From my recollection, System Shock 2 does not like multicore cpus...if you are trying to play System Shock 2 on a multicore cpu, you could have problems. I ended up installing it on my old pc with Pentium 4 and had no problems after that.

SS2 is a pain to get working on modern systems.....a damn shame.

Thats the main reason I'd like to see a remake with upgraded graphics and compatibility, whilst otherwise leaving the game as it is.

Just installed the game with no issues after reading some topics about it, and it plays perfectly with a SS2 mod I found that patches the game, fixes the multicore issues and allows you to run the game on HD resolutions.

Amazing game BTW, I still can't believe I got it for 11 bucks in complete and mint shape (Including manuals and the big box).
